It was only when I left a hectic life in New York that I found the time to be creative. In 2005 I set off to travel, armed with a small set of watercolours, and painted many of the beautiful places I travelled through.
I have since taken various drawing and painting classes, and enrolled in Korky Paul’s Children’s Picture Book Illustration class in 2011. In 2013 I finished the Ashmolean Art School Experience, an advanced art class exploring different media. After that I enrolled in the Cambridge Illustration Summer course, and subsequently took the intermediate and advanced picture book class at the House of Illustration. I still work with Claire Alexander, who is their tutor and also an amazing children's book author and illustrator.
I use mostly watercolours, and enjoy drawing and painting animals and landscapes. In addition I like photography and travel writing.
