It was only when I left a hectic life in New York that I found the time to be creative. In 2005 I set off to travel, armed with a small set of watercolours, and painted many of the beautiful places I travelled through.
I have since taken various drawing and painting classes, and enrolled in Korky Paul’s Children’s Picture Book Illustration class in 2011. In 2013 I finished the Ashmolean Art School Experience, an advanced art class exploring different media. I currently work with Claire Alexander, an amazing children's book author, illustrator and tutor.
Whilst not busy playing with our son Thomas, I try to paint and draw as much as possible, In 2013 I finished writing and illustrating The Magic Dodo. It is for sale in bookshops and gift shops in and around Oxford. In 2015 my second book came out, taking place in The Netherlands.
I use mostly watercolours, and enjoy drawing and painting animals and landscapes. In addition I like photography and travel writing.
